Bronze starts with Tin. You smelt it in a Smelter from ore dug at the water's edge in the Black Forest, and the bar is worthless on its own until you combine it with Copper at a Forge.
How to Get It
Feed Tin Ore and Coal into a smelter and the bars stack up on their own while you do something else, with charcoal from a kiln keeping the fire fed. Building the smelter takes stone and Surtling Cores, so a Burial Chamber run comes before any metalworking. Neither the ore nor the finished bar can go through a portal, so every trip in both directions means a cart or a boat. Most players end up building the smelter at the shore rather than dragging the ore inland.
