Vineberry Seeds are for planting, not eating. Shaken loose from the Vineberry Clusters that hang in the Ashlands, they are how you carry Ashvine out of that biome.
Farming
A vine climbs rather than spreads, so it needs a flat built wall beside it and nothing overhanging it. You grow one plant straight from the seeds.
| Plant | Image | Planted From | What You Harvest | Grows In | Needs Tilled Soil | Growing Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ashvine |
|
Vineberry Seeds | 1x Vineberry Cluster | Every biome but the Mountain and the Deep North | Yes, and a wall within 1.8m | 200 to 300 seconds |
How to Get It
You pick the clusters by hand with no tool, but only a fraction of them give seed, so expect to strip a great many vines before you have enough for a planting worth carrying home. Reaching the vines is the hard part. The crossing means taking a longship into burning water, and the shore fights back, so Fire Resistance Barley Wine and a landing you can retreat to matter more than the harvest does. Back at base the seeds go into cultivated soil and grow in gentler biomes, which is the whole reason for the trip.
Notes
- Ashvine can produce seeds in any biome.
