The Glen Apartment is a large home that V can buy in The Glen, in the Heywood district of Night City. It is the second most expensive home V can buy, after the Corpo Plaza apartment. The apartment spreads over more than one level, with the bed on the upper floor. It has the largest floor plan of any home for sale. Players pick it for the space, the view over the city and the coffee machine.

Features

The apartment holds everything V needs between jobs. There is a bed, a bathroom with a shower and a mirror, a stash and a wardrobe. Iconic Weapon display racks stand inside, so V can show off rare guns. A computer sits in the office area.

Several objects invite V to stop for a moment. A pool table lets V play billiards. A vinyl record player spins music, and a Roach Race arcade machine stands ready for a game. A coffee machine brews a cup on request.

Some of these amenities give V a buff that lasts one hour. Sleeping in the bed gives the Rested status, which raises the experience V earns for skills. A shower gives the Refreshed status, and with it V regenerates health during combat. Coffee gives the Energized status, which raises V's stamina and helps it come back faster. The Corpo Plaza apartment is the only other bought home with a coffee machine.

The mirror lets V change appearance, and the wardrobe stores outfits. The apartment offers a panoramic view over Night City.

How to Get

Finish the main job Playing for Time. Apartment sales open after V meets Takemura at Tom's Diner.
The new apartments then appear on the map with their own icon.
Open the EZEstates site on a computer and pay there, or travel to The Glen and buy the apartment in person at the door.
The price is €$ 80,000. It is a one-time payment, and the apartment belongs to V from then on.

Lore

The Glen is the government district of Night City. During the rebuilding of the city, the City Council asked the corporations for help. In return the corporations took the center of town. The city government moved to The Glen and built its new City Hall here.

Today City Hall is the seat of the mayor, and the courts work nearby. A large NCPD precinct also stands in the district. The northern part of The Glen, near City Center, is rich and clean. Parks and tall towers fill this side of the district.

A few blocks south of City Hall, the picture changes. The buildings grow poorer and the streets more dangerous. This is gang territory, held by the Valentinos and the 6th Street gang. The two gangs are in conflict, and their fights now break out in The Glen as well.
