The Megabuilding H10 Apartment is V's first home in Night City. It sits on the eighth floor of Megabuilding H10 in Little China, in the Watson district. Before moving in, V spent six months on jobs with Jackie Welles and lived in the house of Jackie's mother. The apartment belongs to V from the start of the story. It is also the only home that keeps V's pets and memorabilia, and the only one that can be redecorated.
Features
The apartment holds everything V needs between jobs. There is a bed, a bathroom with a shower, a mirror and a toilet, a stash and a wardrobe. Iconic Weapon display racks let V show off rare guns. A computer stands to the right of the front door. On it V reads email and browses the Net. A TV plays programs, and a radio plays news and music. A vending machine stands in the room as well.
Sleeping in the bed gives the Rested status, which raises the experience V earns for skills. A shower gives the Refreshed status, and with it V regenerates health during combat. Each status lasts one hour. The bed also lets V skip time. The mirror lets V change appearance.
Certain jobs reward V with memorabilia. These decorations appear in this apartment on their own, and they show up in no other home.
Two pets can live here. Nibbles is a stray cat from the corridor outside. A trash can there holds a datashard called "feed teh cat", and a small bowl sits next to it. V leaves cat food in the bowl, skips some time and comes back to find the cat eating. V then picks her up, and she moves into the apartment for good.
An iguana can join her. Its egg lies in Yorinobu Arasaka's penthouse during the main job The Heist, in the grass behind a log. After the talk with Takemura at Tom's Diner, a bowl appears in the apartment, and V can place the egg in it. The egg hatches after about 90 to 110 in-game days. Both pets stay in this apartment and never move to the others.
The EZEstates site on the apartment computer sells makeovers. Each makeover gives the apartment a new look and costs €$ 10,000. The themes are Coronado Twilight, Lunar Tranquility, California Max, Neon Sands, Flamingo City and Sowbread Tiger. Makeovers work on this apartment only.
A fast travel point and a drop point wait in the hallway near the door.
How to Get
- The apartment is V's own from the start of the story.
- The main job The Rescue ends here. Jackie drops V off outside, and V goes up to the apartment and lies down in bed.
- The main job Playing for Time returns V here. Misty brings V home from Viktor's clinic. The next morning Johnny Silverhand appears in the apartment and knocks V's pills across the room.
- Once Playing for Time is done, the EZEstates site on the apartment computer puts more apartments up for sale.

Lore
Megabuilding H10 stands in Little China, a sub-district of Watson in the north of Night City. Corporations once planned to turn this part of Watson into a second City Center. They put up towers and opened top-quality clinics such as the Med Center.
Then the money left, and immigrants moved in, most of them from China. That is how the district got its name. Over the following decades Little China grew crowded and poor. Its food, its neon lights and its small shops still draw crowds. Living blocks stand beside affluent condos, and illegal gambling dens sit next to honest offices.
No gang claims Little China as its turf. The Tyger Claws still come here often to enjoy its cheap entertainment.
Notes
- The other apartments for sale cost €$ 10,000 in Northside, €$ 30,000 in Japantown, €$ 80,000 in The Glen and €$ 110,000 in Corpo Plaza.
- Each of those prices is a one-time payment, and the bought apartment belongs to V from then on.
- Nibbles appears only after V buys cat food from a food vendor and leaves it in the bowl.
