The SO-21 Saika is a holographic long scope from Arasaka for rifles that fight at a distance. It gives a large zoom and a big boost to effective range. It also adds Crit Chance to every shot. It suits a late game rifle build that wants every long shot to count. The SO-21 Saika is a late game scope, since it comes at Tiers 4 and 5.
Effect
A scope sits in a weapon's scope slot and changes how the gun aims. The SO-21 Saika adds 0.7 zoom and 30% effective range at both tiers. A longer effective range keeps distant shots at full damage.
The Tier 4 copy also adds 3% Crit Chance and makes aiming down sights a little faster. The Tier 5 copy raises the Crit Chance bonus to 5%. It trades the faster aim for 5% Crit Damage.
The SO-21 Saika is worth the slot on an assault rifle or a precision rifle used at long range.

Upgrades
The SO-21 Saika comes at Tiers 4 and 5. Tier 5 adds more Crit Chance and swaps the faster aim for Crit Damage. A scope can only go on a weapon of the same tier or a higher one. Scopes can be taken off a gun and moved to another one at any time.
Character Builds
The SO-21 Saika helps any build that shoots from far away. Focus in the Cool tree adds damage to headshots and weak spots. Deadeye raises headshot and weak spot damage further. Long Shot keeps shots at full damage at any distance while Deadeye is active. Nerves Of Tungsten-Steel adds guaranteed critical hits on headshots and weak spots while Deadeye is active.
In the Reflexes tree, Tunnel Vision raises effective range and accuracy. Sharpshooter makes aiming faster.
