The Leapworm is a worm that lives in caves and along the water's edge, bursting up from the ground or the water to attack. It drops the Leapworm Skin, a material used to enhance gear.

Leapworms come in swarms, leaping out of the ground or the water at anyone who comes too close.
Where to Find the Leapworm
Leapworms infest Dead-End Curve from end to end, burrow through the tunnels of the Depleted Ore Deposit and the floor of the Frightful Hollow, and lurk deeper inside Twilight Cave. In Battahl, a pack lurks inside the Caliginous Depths beyond Medusa's lair.
