The Wolf is a wild predator that hunts in packs through the forests and mountains of Vermund. Packs den in several caves, one of them carries off Rodge in the side quest Prey for the Pack, and another circles Norbert in Brothers Brave and Timid.
How to Beat the Wolf
Wolves always hunt as a pack, so where one appears several more are close behind, and the danger comes from their numbers rather than from any single animal.
Where to Find the Wolf
Packs roam the woods and hills of Vermund. One has made its den in Putrid Cave, where it drags Rodge during Prey for the Pack, and others prowl the Forgotten Tunnel, the caves of the Ancestral Chamber, the entrances of Riverside Cavern and the Backwoods Nest, where they share the cave with Goblins.

Wolf Quests
Brothers Brave and Timid starts in Melve, where Ian fears for his brother Norbert, who went into the woods and has not returned. Following Ian down the trail leads to Norbert surrounded by a pack of Wolves, and once they are driven off both brothers must be escorted back to Melve.
Prey for the Pack begins in Checkpoint Rest Town when Morris learns that Wolves have carried off his grandson, Rodge. Asking around town reveals where he was taken, and following the trail east leads to the Putrid Cave, where Rodge is found.
