The Lost Mercenary is an armed sellsword who has turned to violence for its own sake. Groups of them guard loot and camps out in the open and fight alongside Bandits in several caves of Vermund and Battahl.
How to Beat the Lost Mercenary
Lost Mercenaries rarely stand alone. They gather around camps and treasure, and in caves they fight shoulder to shoulder with Bandit gangs, so a clash with them tends to draw in a crowd.
Where to Find the Lost Mercenary
In the open, a band patrols the Marshland Settlement and another guards the loot at the Eremitic Sanctuary, where they fight beside the Bandits inside. They are scattered through Echoing Depths with the gangs there, help hold the Timeworn Shaft and Headwater Cavern, and one lurks in the Tomb of Renu'LeBarr carrying the Flamberge.
