The Hobgoblin is a bigger, stronger kind of Goblin found in the wilds of both Vermund and Battahl. Like its smaller kin it hunts in groups, and several caves and towers are held by Hobgoblin bands.
Hobgoblin Lore
Hobgoblins are counted as a higher class of Goblin, with a sturdier build than the common sort. They are skilled hunters that move with precision and handle their weapons well, and they are not to be underestimated.
How to Beat the Hobgoblin
Hobgoblins fight as a band, often side by side with ordinary Goblins, so a fight with them is a fight with a crowd. They can also ambush travellers on the road, and a ride by oxcart to Vernworth may be interrupted by a raiding party.
Where to Find the Hobgoblin
Hobgoblins are common in the wild and appear across the Unmoored World as well. Bands of them hold much of Guerco Cavern, roam Dragonsbreath Tower and lurk in the tunnels of Sal'Battahl Cavern. A small group guards the chests of Howling Cave, a large band camps in the Rocky Crevasse, and a well-armed band fills Sandsear Cave.
