The Rattler is a four-legged reptile of the Saurian family whose back is armoured with rock. It lives in the mountains and rocky canyons, mostly in Battahl, and at a glance it can pass for a boulder rolling down the slope.
Rattler Lore
Rattlers are described as beasts whose backs look as though they are covered in stones. They dwell in mountainous country, where they are easily mistaken for great rolling rocks.
How to Beat the Rattler
The rocky shell on a Rattler's back turns most blows aside, while its belly is soft. The way to beat one is to knock it over and strike the exposed underside. Rattlers can also curl up and roll at the party like a boulder, which easily knocks a fighter off their feet.
Where to Find the Rattler
Rattlers are common in Battahl. They crawl all through Windworn Gully, slither through the tunnels of Drabnir's Grotto in numbers, and lurk in Thunderclap Cave. They are also found across the Unmoored World.

Rattler Quests
Convergence leads the Arisen down through Stormwind Cave towards the ruins risen from the seabed, where Rothais waits. Rattlers lurk in the cave alongside Saurians and attack on the way through.
