Flying Dragon Agheel is a great boss in Elden Ring.
Flying Dragon Agheel is a fire-breathing dragon that rules the skies over Agheel Lake in Limgrave. It dives down on the islet northwest of the Dragon-Burnt Ruins and burns the robed nobles who gather there. It is the first dragon most journeys meet. Its Dragon Heart opens the way to dragon incantations at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion.
Lore
Agheel is a huge winged dragon that walks on its hind legs and the joints of its wings. It strikes with stomps, bites and wing slams, and it breathes fire from the ground and from the air.
The dead of Limgrave once gazed at the skies over its lakes and prayed that the dragons' flames would burn them to ash. Wandering nobles in the ruins around the lake still chant Agheel's name.
Each fallen dragon yields a heart. At the Cathedral of Dragon Communion, those hearts are traded for the dragons' own power.

Attacks
- Stomps: it lifts a foot and stomps with a small shockwave; step back and jump attack the other leg as the foot falls.
- Lunging Stomp: it twists and stomps forward with a large shockwave; run underneath it and attack the back legs.
- Bite: it bends its head one way, roars and bites the other way; sprint forward or back off and charge a heavy attack on the head.
- Wing Sweep: it sweeps the ground in front with one or both wings; run toward its feet.
- Tail Sweep: it spins to clear foes close to its body; roll away from the tail.
- Dragonfire Breath: a fast arc or a slow stream of fire across the ground; ride or run across the stream toward the dragon.
- Flying Fire: it takes off and strafes the ground with flame, leaving fire behind; sprint or ride away at once.
Tactics
- Ride Torrent to close distance quickly when the dragon flies off and to escape its breath.
- Aim for the head, which takes extra damage, and punish forward attacks with hits on it.
- Stay under its legs on foot and jump attack over the stomp shockwaves.
- Run as soon as it rises with fire in its mouth.
- Use pierce weapons such as spears, which cut through its scales best.
- Summon fast spirits or Bloody Finger Hunter Yura; slow spirits burn up in the breath.
- Co-op raises its health and prevents riding Torrent, so weigh that before summoning a player.

Notes
- Defeating Agheel unlocks Agheel's Flame at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion in Caelid.
- Yura's summon sign appears by the Stake of Marika after speaking with him near the Seaside Ruins.
- A critical hit after a broken stance makes the dragon take more physical damage for the rest of the fight.
- Its head takes much more damage than the rest of its body.
