The Meteorite Staff is a Glintstone Staff in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Caelid, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Why Players Pick It

The early-game answer and the permanent gravity stat-stick. Lists 138 Sorcery Scaling at its 18 Int minimum: with an S Int grade at +0 per local data, the only S in the class, plus +30% to gravity sorceries that applies while merely held in an active hand. But is explicit that it cannot be upgraded at all, caps at 272 at 80 Int, and is thereafter 'best used as a stat stick'. Its Str requirement of 6 is below every origin's starting Strength.

Upgrades

Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D and Int at S, so Int is the stat worth levelling, and you need Str 6 and Int 18 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling. It also boosts gravity sorcery by +30% on its own, with no infusion needed.

Notes

Staff embedded with a dark purple glintstone, said to be the fragment of a meteorite. Boasts high sorcery scaling and boosts gravity sorceries as well. However, this staff cannot be strengthened in any way.

Location: Street of Sages Ruins.
The is looted from a corpse inside a broken tower on the southwest side of the Street of Sages Ruins, located within the northwestern quadrant of the Swamp of Aeonia in Caelid.
