Ancient Hero of Zamor is an evergaol boss in Elden Ring.
The Ancient Hero of Zamor is a tall, graceful swordsman wrapped in freezing winds. The first is sealed in the Weeping Evergaol in the Weeping Peninsula, which needs a Stonesword Key to open. Others guard the ends of the Sainted Hero's Grave and the Giant-Conquering Hero's Grave. It leaps, spins and breathes ice, and its blade builds frostbite fast.
Lore
The hero is a tall, slender warrior with long silver hair and an ornate mask. It wields a curved sword and cloaks itself in icy tempests.
These long-lived warriors are said to have been the mortal enemies of the Fire Giants since time immemorial. The heroes of Zamor won renown in the War Against the Giants, where they finally triumphed.
The hero in the Weeping Evergaol carries Radagon's Scarseal, a sign of Lord Radagon's grace.

Attacks
- Sword Swings: chains of cuts in many directions; parry or roll away until the chain ends.
- Spinning Swing: it crouches and spins one and a half turns; roll away once, then punish the long recovery.
- Leaping Slam: it jumps and slams the sword down; roll forward as the blade turns vertical.
- Frost Breath: it kneels and blows a widening cone of icy wind; run or jump to the side, or strike its flank.
- Frost Orb: it raises a hand to its shoulder and bursts a sphere of frost around itself; roll away at once.
- Imbue Frost: it kneels and coats its sword in frost, after which every swing builds frostbite; rush in and attack during the long animation.
- Leaping Swings: it jumps with a rising cut and swings down as it falls; roll to either side.
Tactics
- Land free hits at the very start, before it fully spawns.
- Stay just outside its reach to bait leaps and lunges, then punish the long recoveries.
- Avoid blocking once its sword is frosted, since blocked hits still build frostbite.
- Parry its readable sword swings with a small shield.
- Attack freely while it kneels to imbue its sword.
- Use fire or lightning, which both hit it hard.
