The Enhanced Elven Crossbow is an upgraded Elven Crossbow whose bolts ignore half of a target's armor. It comes from the Elite Crossbows Creation, which opens with the quest Night Hunter.

Weapon Enchantment

Any weapon enchantment can be placed on an Enhanced Elven Crossbow at an arcane enchanter.

An Enhanced Elven Crossbow is made at a forge with the Elven Smithing perk.

Upgrades

An Enhanced Elven Crossbow is improved at a grindstone with one Refined Moonstone per improvement. The Elven Smithing perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
