The Nordic Crossbow hits for 23 and weighs 15, which is the best damage per unit of weight of any crossbow. It came with the Expanded Crossbow Pack Creation and uses Quicksilver Ingots, the same metal as the rest of the Nordic set from Dragonborn.

Where to Find the Nordic Crossbow Location?

• Bought from the Fletcher in Solitude, or forged at any ordinary forge. This is the practical difference between the Creation crossbows and the Dawnguard ones: no faction, no questline and no special forge.
• The Dawnguard add-on is still required, because it is what adds crossbows and bolts to the game in the first place.

Weapon Levels

Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.

The Nordic Crossbow is not a leveled weapon.
