A ladder gets you up a wall, but the Black marble stair gets you up it with a full load on your back. Eight Black Marble cut this solid flight from the Stairs and Ladders section of the Mistlands set, and it climbs a storey in a single 2x2x1 run.
How to Build It
It costs 8x Black Marble, as much as the largest block in the set, and a Stonecutter must be close enough to reach the spot. A flight needs something solid at the top as well as the bottom, so raise the wall first and land the stair against finished marble. A wooden floor will carry no stone at all.
