The Moose Saddle lets you ride a tamed moose, the third mount after the lox and the asksvin. You make it at a level 2 black forge from four bloodgold, five seal pelts, five timberwood and fifteen linen thread.
How to Get It
To fit it, put the saddle on your hotbar and use it while looking at a tamed moose. Press the use key to mount, and Shift with the use key to take the saddle off again. You have to tame the moose first: pen it, throw lingonberries at its feet and wait for it to calm down, keeping it fed the whole time.
A moose has 1,000 health and antlers that hit for 160 slash, and it resists blunt, slash and frost.
Notes
- If a saddled moose dies, the saddle drops where it fell, and it floats if that spot is in water.
- The linen thread is the one ingredient from the Plains, spun from flax at a spinning wheel.
