The Glaive is a Halberd in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Sellia, Town of Sorcery, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Upgrades

Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D and Dex at D, so Str and Dex are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 18 and Dex 15 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling.

Notes

Weapon comprised of a sharp blade affixed to a long grip. It is in fact a sickle repurposed to be a tool of war. This far-reaching weapon excels at slashing attacks.

4% chance to be dropped by Skeletal Executioners that wield it, such as the one near the Sellia Backstreets grace in Sellia, Town of Sorcery.
