The Lucerne is a Halberd in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Liurnia of the Lakes, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Upgrades

Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D and Dex at C, so Dex is the stat worth levelling, and you need Str 15 and Dex 12 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling.

Notes

This polearm features a hard, sharpened beak-like spike attached to its head, designed to pierce armor. Though designed mainly as a thrusting weapon, its long handle can be utilized to get around an enemy's guard with a sideward sweeping attack.

Found north of the Liurnia Highway North grace in Liurnia of the Lakes, near a broken carriage in an old battlefield.
