The Lion Greatbow is a Greatbow in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Late game. It is behind a late region or a boss remembrance, so it is an end-of-run weapon rather than something to build towards.

Why Players Pick It

Lightest greatbow at 9.5, 294 at max, and it carries Radahn's Rain, a flurry of arrows fired into the sky. Its unique value is a multiplier: equipping it grants Radahn's Spear great arrows +20% physical damage, and you can hold a Lion Greatbow in each hand to stack that bonus. Also singles it out as performing well against large bosses, which take most of the skill's arrows, that is site guidance, not a measured figure. Costs the Remembrance of the Starscourge.

Upgrades

It takes Somber Smithing Stones rather than the common kind, one per level up to +10, and it keeps its own skill for good: no Ash of War will replace it and no affinity will re-cut its scaling.

Skill

Radahn's Rain costs 32 FP. Archery skill performed from a low stance. Ready the bow and fire a sudden flurry of arrows up into the sky. The arrows will pour on foes like rain. It belongs to this weapon alone: no Ash of War will move it onto anything else, and nothing will replace it here.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D and Dex at D, so Str and Dex are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 22 and Dex 18 before you can lift it. Because the skill is its own, the build has to come to the weapon rather than the other way round. It also increases the power of Radahn's Spear by 20% on its own, with no infusion needed.

Greatbow of black iron wielded by General Radahn. Decorated with a lion motif. Imbued with gravitational power of the Starscourge, when used along with Radahn's Spear, it becomes a true weapon of a champion.

How to Get Lion Greatbow Guide

Trade the Remembrance of the Starscourge, gained by defeating Starscourge Radahn, with Finger Reader Enia.
Alternatively, use one of the Wandering Mausoleums with a bell to duplicate one (can only obtain one per playthrough either way).
