Shadow of the Erdtree. It is in the expansion, which opens only once Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood are beaten.

Why Players Pick It

Shadow of the Erdtree weapon. Ties Smithscript Axe for highest base physical in the class at 133, at 14 Str / 10 Dex, the cheapest requirement of any 130+ axe. Puts it at 325 max standard with C/C, second only to Stormhawk Axe. Farmed at 2% from axe-wielding Messmer Soldiers.

Upgrades

Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D and Dex at D, so Str and Dex are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 14 and Dex 10 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling.
