The Forked-Tongue Hatchet is an Axe in Elden Ring. It belongs to Shadow of the Erdtree and waits in the Realm of Shadow.

The Forked-Tongue Hatchet is a peculiar weapon wielded by imps, a hatchet smithed in the shape of a fork-tongued dragon whose undulating forked blade causes blood loss. It drops from imps in the catacombs of the Realm of Shadow, and one in the Scorpion River Catacombs can be farmed. It swings at the same speed as the Hand Axe and Forked Hatchet and, like the Forked Hatchet, has pierce attacks. It cannot take Ashes of War and carries the unique skill Dragonform Flame, but it can still be enchanted with magic and boosted by consumables. It scales with Strength and Dexterity at D, and its Dexterity scaling grows faster with upgrades, which suits a Dexterity bleed build.

This weapon has a 2% chance to be dropped by hatchet-wielding Imps in catacombs in the Realm of Shadow.
It can be farmed in the Scorpion River Catacombs.

Skill

Dragonform Flame costs 14 FP. The wielder raises the hatchet to the face and breathes a fan of fire that sweeps back and forth across a wide area in front. Flames that reach the ground keep burning for a short time, and the attack works the same way as the Firebreather skill of the Steel-Wire Torch. The skill is unique to this weapon and cannot be swapped out.

Played like the other light axes as a fast bleed weapon, chaining quick strings to build blood loss and mixing in Dragonform Flame between them.
