The Warped Axe is an Axe in Elden Ring. It becomes available in the middle of a run.

The Warped Axe is an oversized double-headed axe with a bizarre, almost melted appearance, and brute strength is the only thing required to wield it. It drops from Omens near the Abandoned Coffin grace on the Altus Plateau, in the Cliffbottom Catacombs and near the Underground Roadside grace in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds. Its unique light and strong attack chains use both blades, which shortens the time between hits, and its status buildup on the Cold, Poison and Blood affinities matches greataxes. It scales only with Strength, at C, and weighs 7.5.

Stats

The Warped Axe is the pure Strength axe, with C Strength and no Dexterity scaling at +0. It holds the class's best guard boost at 43, which makes it a fine one-handed weapon behind a greatshield, and its 128 stance damage at max upgrade is the highest of any axe.

Skill

War Cry costs 16 FP. The wielder lets out a war cry that grants a 40 second weapon buff raising physical attack power. While it lasts, strong attacks become heavier overhead slams and upward slashes, and charged strong attacks rush forward into the blow. The Roar Medallion boosts these altered attacks, and as a weapon buff it replaces greases and armament-buffing spells. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.

Suggested Build

Either a heavy Strength axe that uses War Cry for charging strong attacks, or a status axe that spins out hits with Wild Strikes, Sword Dance or Spinning Slash.
