The Rosus' Axe is a Axe in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Liurnia of the Lakes, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Upgrades

It takes Somber Smithing Stones rather than the common kind, one per level up to +10, and it keeps its own skill for good: no Ash of War will replace it and no affinity will re-cut its scaling.

Skill

Rosus's Summons costs 15 FP. Raise the axe aloft to summon those lost in death. Three skeletons will appear at a distance and attack in tandem before vanishing. It belongs to this weapon alone: no Ash of War will move it onto anything else, and nothing will replace it here.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D, Dex at E and Int at D, so Str and Int are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 18, Dex 10 and Int 18 before you can lift it. Because the skill is its own, the build has to come to the weapon rather than the other way round.

Notes

Usher of Death, Rosus, who shows the path to the catacombs throughout the Lands Between, is depicted on this ritual axe. The dead easily lose their way, and have always been in sore need of a guiding hand.
