Late game. It is found around Leyndell, Royal Capital, far enough in that it is an end-of-run weapon rather than something to build towards.

Why Players Pick It

Highest max-standard attack rating in the class on 's table at 333, with C/C scaling. Base physical 130 at 5.5 weight, but it costs 19 Str / 15 Dex, the steepest Dex requirement among the heavy-hitting axes.

Upgrades

It takes Somber Smithing Stones rather than the common kind, one per level up to +10, and it keeps its own skill for good: no Ash of War will replace it and no affinity will re-cut its scaling.

Skill

Thunderstorm costs 19 / 12 FP. Imbue the armament's wing-blade with lightning and swing it around to create a tempestuous lightning storm. Follow up with an additional imput to perform up to two spinning attacks. The lightning will stay on the blade for a while. It belongs to this weapon alone: no Ash of War will move it onto anything else, and nothing will replace it here.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D and Dex at D, so Str and Dex are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 19 and Dex 15 before you can lift it. Because the skill is its own, the build has to come to the weapon rather than the other way round.
