Circus Knives is the best dagger for critical strike damage. Circus Knives are a pair of daggers that deal piercing damage. They add sneak attack damage and crit damage.

Damage By Level

Base damage grows with item level and with rarity. Two-handed weapons deal one and a half times as much as one-handed ones. The table shows the base damage before perks and gems. Each perk adds its own bonus on top.

Enhancements by Level

Each upgrade at the Hunter raises a copy by one level and unlocks the next enhancement. The levels count from the copy's own level, so a level 9 copy unlocks them at levels 10 to 14. Rarity sets how many upgrades a copy takes: one for common, up to five for legendary.

Special Ability

Riposte Kick: Lets the wielder perform a Kick attack shortly after parrying an enemy. It also deals Stamina Damage which fills the enemy's Stun Bar. Most daggers carry this ability, so a well-timed parry is the opening for a kick.

Skills

These skills make daggers stronger or add new moves to them.

Quick Reflex Block	Ranger	4	Briefly enhances your block value when blocking with the dual daggers, ensuring a near-miss parry reduces stamina minimally.
Slice And Dice	Ranger	3	Increases the damage of your next bow attack by 50% after a dagger crit.

Lore

These knives come from a circus act. In untrained hands they can do a great deal of damage. The lore notes A Devious Performance tell of the act behind them. A poster announces the Fabulous Godwin's "Impalement Act", a show held to celebrate the boss Vorgoth's capture of the summits. Before the show, the performer sharpened the knives and fixed the little bells on his hat, but wished he had more time to practise. The knives lie near New Cromville in the Albaneve Summits.

Notes

Like all daggers, the knives can follow a parry with a Riposte Kick that fills the enemy's stun bar. Daggers are Ranger weapons, and Dexterity raises their damage. The knives are one of the unique items of the Albaneve Summits in the Set List. Finding every unique item of a region completes its set and pays XP. Once found, the knives can be crafted again at the Hunter.

How to Get Circus Knives Guide

The Hunter crafts them from Celestium Bars, a Gold Bar, Moonstone and Archaic Shards. Crafting needs a sheltered spot. Crafted copies are Rare, at item level 46. A pair of the same name also lies in the world at New Cromville.
