Proud Daggers is the best dagger for merciless attack damage. It is a legendary pair of daggers. It deals piercing damage. At level 50, a legendary copy hits for 220 base damage. It attacks every 0.4 seconds, which comes to about 550 damage per second. It always has one gem slot for a gem. Its upgrades unlock merciless attack damage, melee damage turned back on attackers and extra piercing damage. It is found in the Albaneve Summits, where it drops from gold and silver sarcophagi in the Hollow Halls. The Hunter upgrades it.

Damage By Level

Base damage grows with item level and with rarity. Two-handed weapons deal one and a half times as much as one-handed ones. The table shows the base damage before perks and gems. Each perk adds its own bonus on top.

Enhancements by Level

Each upgrade at the Hunter raises a copy by one level and unlocks the next enhancement. The levels count from the copy's own level, so a level 9 copy unlocks them at levels 10 to 14. Rarity sets how many upgrades a copy takes: one for common, up to five for legendary.

Special Ability

Riposte Kick: Lets the wielder perform a Kick attack shortly after parrying an enemy. It also deals Stamina Damage which fills the enemy's Stun Bar. Most daggers carry this ability, so a well-timed parry is the opening for a kick.

It is found in the Albaneve Summits. It drops from tier 5 warrior weapon chests: gold and silver sarcophagi in the Hollow Halls. It rolls at common to rare rarity.
