Congealed Putrescence is a crafting material in Elden Ring. It is one of the expansion's additions, found in the Land of Shadow.
Congealed Putrescence is a bruise-colored lump of the ooze that leaks from stone coffins. It is what remains of the impure lives sealed inside them. It is found underground in the land where the stone coffins drift. It goes into piquebone arrows and bolts.
Gathering
The lumps lie on the ground in the Stone Coffin Fissure, often near slimes and other putrescent enemies. The fissure opens below the Cerulean Coast, where the stone coffins wash ashore.
"Bruise-colored putrescence that oozes from stone coffins, congealed into a large viscous lump. Material used for crafting items. Found underground in the land to where stone coffins drift. The putrescence is what remains of the impure lives kept within the stone coffins."
