Elden Ring - Remembrances

Remembrances drop from major bosses and hold the power of their former owners. Each one can be used for a large sum of runes or traded to Finger Reader Enia for a unique weapon, spell or Ash of War. Each copy gives only one reward, so the choice shapes a build.

Trading

Finger Reader Enia sits in the room of the Two Fingers at the Roundtable Hold. Her room opens after the first Shardbearer is defeated. Each remembrance can be traded with her for one of its rewards. The remembrance is gone after the trade.

A reward already taken cannot be traded for again in the same playthrough. Some rewards also cost runes, such as the Dragon King's Cragblade at 20,000 and the Axe of Godfrey at 15,000. Both rewards of the Remembrance of the Naturalborn cost 10,000 runes each.

Using for Runes

Using a remembrance grants a large sum of runes instead of a reward. The sums range from 20,000 for the first bosses to 50,000 for the hardest ones. Remembrance of the Grafted and Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen grant 20,000 runes each. Remembrance of the Blasphemous, Remembrance of the Rot Goddess and Elden Remembrance grant 50,000.

Using a remembrance consumes it, and the chance to trade it is lost. Remembrances from the Realm of Shadow sell to merchants for the same sum they grant.

Duplication

A Wandering Mausoleum can copy a remembrance, once per mausoleum. Copying before trading lets both rewards be claimed in one playthrough. Shardbearer remembrances can only be copied at a mausoleum that carries a bell. Each remembrance from the Realm of Shadow drops once per playthrough, so its choice matters.
