Elden Ring - Throwables

Throwables are knives, darts, stones and glintstone shards that strike enemies from range. Some deal physical damage from Strength and Dexterity, while others cost FP and scale with Intelligence or Arcane. They are cheap to restock and handy for pulling enemies or finishing them from a safe distance.

Physical Throws

Throwing Dagger, Kukri, Fan Daggers and Bone Dart deal physical damage that scales with Strength and Dexterity. Fan Daggers throw five knives at once in a wide spread. Kukri also builds up blood loss, and only that build-up scales with Arcane. Poisonbone Dart, Poisoned Stone and Poisoned Stone Clump add poison build-up that scales with Arcane.

Explosive Stone and Explosive Stone Clump deal fire damage that scales with Strength at A. Each small blade or dart adds a little stance damage, which keeps an enemy's stance from resetting.

Sorcery Throws

Glintstone Scrap, Large Glintstone Scrap and Cuckoo Glintstone cost FP and fire magic bolts. Large Glintstone Scrap scales with Intelligence at A. Cuckoo Glintstone forms three bolts at the point of impact, and they home in on a locked-on target. Gravity Stone Fan and Gravity Stone Chunk mix magic and strike damage.

Strike damage breaks through the tough crystal bodies of Crystallians. Crystal Dart costs 1 FP and makes Imps, Erdtree Burial Watchdogs, Guardian Golems and Golem Smiths turn on nearby enemies.

Merchants

Merchant Kalé sells Throwing Daggers at the Church of Elleh for 40 runes. The Nomadic Merchant at the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace sells Kukri for 60 runes. Patches sells Fan Daggers for 160 runes. The Hermit Merchant in the Ainsel River sells both Gravity Stone throws.

Gatekeeper Gostoc and the Twin Maiden Husks sell Ruin Fragments for 100 runes. The Twin Maiden Husks stock many more throwables once the matching Bell Bearing is handed over.

Farming

Miners drop explosive and poisoned stones in the tunnels where they work. Explosive Miners in the Limgrave Tunnels, Morne Tunnel and Gael Tunnel drop Explosive Stones. Poison Miners in the Sealed Tunnel drop Poisoned Stones. Glintstone Miners drop Glintstone Scraps and Large Glintstone Scraps.

Starcallers drop both Gravity Stone throws. Vulgar Militiamen drop Kukri in packs of five.

Crafting

Bone Dart is crafted with the Crafting Kit from Thin Beast Bones. Bone Dart, Poisonbone Dart and Crystal Dart each come five to a craft. Cuckoo Glintstone is crafted from a Crystal Bud and a Cracked Crystal. Ruin Fragments make Rainbow Stones, Glowstones and Scriptstones, and they can also be thrown on their own.

Ruin Fragments found in the open world come back after resting at a Site of Grace. The Spritestone and the Fire Spritestone are crafted from Rauh Burrows.

Realm of Shadow

Dragon Communion Harpoon deals pierce damage, and dragons take extra damage from it. A charged harpoon throw flies farther and hits harder. The Spritestone floats toward its target and explodes, with damage that scales with Arcane at A. The Bondstone detonates a released Spritestone at any moment, but it does not work on a Fire Spritestone.

Fire Coil splits into small homing fire snakes whose damage grows with Faith. Polter Stone makes sounds that imitate a human at the spot where it lands.
