Titanium Bones

Titanium Bones
Titanium Bones
Class Skeleton
Tier Tier 1
Capacity 6

Titanium Bones raise how much V can carry before becoming overloaded. More carrying capacity means fewer trips to sell loot and more room for weapons, armor and crafting components. The implant is cheap to install, so it suits any build that likes to pick up everything. A Body character also gains extra Health from it for each point of Body. Titanium Bones are an early game implant that every ripperdoc in Night City and Dogtown sells from the start.

Effect

Titanium Bones are a passive implant. They raise carrying capacity by a percentage. At Tier 1 the bonus is 30%. At Tier 5 it rises to more than half again V's normal capacity.

Carrying capacity sets how much loot V can hold. A larger capacity lets V clear a whole gang hideout and keep every gun, mod and component found there. It also leaves room to carry several weapons at once.

Titanium Bones are attuned to Body. Each point of Body adds half a point of Health. The implant also adds a block of armor that rises with each tier.

Its stat bonuses add more armor and, from Tier 2, Melee Damage.

How to Get Titanium Bones Guide

  • Visit any ripperdoc clinic in Night City or Dogtown and open the Skeleton slots.

Upgrades

Ripperdocs stock Titanium Bones at Tier 1 below level 10, then Tier 2 from level 10, Tier 3 from 20, Tier 4 from 30 and Tier 5 from 40. An installed copy can be raised a tier at a ripperdoc with the matching item components. Each tier raises the carrying capacity bonus and the armor. The Driver Update perk adds one more stat bonus. The Chipware Connoisseur perk offers a choice of bonuses when V upgrades the implant. V gains Cyberware Capacity with each level and from Cyberware Capacity Shards. The Edgerunner perk lets V go over the limit at the cost of some max Health.

The table shows what each tier step of Titanium Bones costs at a ripperdoc.

Character Builds

Titanium Bones fit any build, because every V collects loot. A Body character gets the most from them, since Body also raises the Health bonus. Their capacity cost is low, so they rarely crowd out stronger implants.

Titanium Bones take a Skeleton slot. The License To Chrome perk in Technical Ability adds a second Skeleton slot and boosts all Skeleton implants. With it, V can carry Titanium Bones beside a combat implant such as Para Bellum or Spring Joints. All Things Cyber lowers the capacity cost of Skeleton implants further.

Scarab, another Skeleton implant, also adds Carrying Capacity through its stat bonuses.
