Feen-X
| Feen-X | |
|---|---|
| Class | Skeleton |
Feen-X is a Skeleton implant for netrunners who keep spending RAM until it runs low. When available RAM drops below a set amount, RAM comes back much faster. A netrunner gets back into the fight sooner after emptying the deck. It also adds armor, like every Skeleton implant. It suits an Intelligence build that wants some protection from the Skeleton slot without giving up its quickhacks. Feen-X is an early game implant that ripperdocs sell from the start.
Effect
Feen-X raises the RAM regen rate by 250% while available RAM is below a set number of units. The threshold rises with each tier. Once RAM climbs back above that line, the regen returns to its normal rate.
The boost rewards a netrunner who spends RAM freely. A queue of quickhacks can drain the pool quickly. Feen-X then refills the bottom of the pool at a much faster pace. This shortens the pause between rounds of quickhacks.
The implant also adds a block of armor. The armor rises with each tier, as it does on other Skeleton cyberware.
Feen-X is attuned to Intelligence. Each point of Intelligence adds a small amount of damage reduction.
How to Get Feen-X Guide
- Visit a ripperdoc clinic and open a Skeleton slot.
- Buy and install Feen-X.

Upgrades
Ripperdocs sell Feen-X at Tier 1 at the start, Tier 2 from level 10, Tier 3 from level 20, Tier 4 from level 30 and Tier 5 from level 40. An installed copy can be raised a tier at a ripperdoc with the matching item components. Each tier raises the RAM threshold and the armor. V gains Cyberware Capacity with each level and from Cyberware Capacity Shards. The Edgerunner perk lets V go over the limit at the cost of some max Health.
The table shows what each tier step of Feen-X costs at a ripperdoc.
| Upgrade | Components | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 to Tier 1+ | 30 Tier 1 components | - |
| Tier 1+ to Tier 2 | 22 Tier 2 components | - |
| Tier 2 to Tier 2+ | 30 Tier 2 components | - |
| Tier 2+ to Tier 3 | 22 Tier 3 components | - |
| Tier 3 to Tier 3+ | 30 Tier 3 components | - |
| Tier 3+ to Tier 4 | 22 Tier 4 components | - |
| Tier 4 to Tier 4+ | 30 Tier 4 components | - |
| Tier 4+ to Tier 5 | 22 Tier 5 components | - |
| Tier 5 to Tier 5+ | 30 Tier 5 components | - |
| Tier 5+ to Tier 5++ | 75 Tier 5 components | Phantom Liberty |
Character Builds
Feen-X belongs in an Intelligence build that uses a cyberdeck. Optimization raises the RAM recovery rate. Hack Queue and Queue Acceleration each add a point of max RAM and let V stack quickhacks on one enemy. Overclock lets V keep hacking with too little RAM, paying with Health for each unit over the limit. Data Recycler recovers RAM from quickhacks still queued on an enemy when that enemy is neutralized.
Memory Boost restores RAM each time V neutralizes an enemy. The Ex-Disk adds max RAM and faster uploads. Both sit in the Frontal Cortex, so they work alongside Feen-X.
Technical Ability perks help Skeleton implants. License To Chrome unlocks another Skeleton slot and boosts the stats of all Skeleton cyberware. All Things Cyber lowers the Cyberware Capacity cost of Skeleton and Integumentary System implants by 20%. Chrome Constitution cuts incoming damage by 5% when every Skeleton and Integumentary System slot is filled.
