Nervous System
The Nervous System holds the reflex implants. It has three slots. Its cyberware slows time in key moments, speeds up movement and raises the chance to land critical hits. Gunfighters who aim for the head, blade fighters and stealth characters all find their core picks here. Most of the slot leans towards Cool and Reflexes.
Effects
Time slows are the signature of the slot. The Kerenzikov lets the user aim and fire while sliding, dodging or Dashing. Aiming during one of those moves slows time by 60% for a moment. The Reflex Tuner slows time on its own when Health drops below a quarter. The Revulsor is its Iconic variant, and the user keeps moving at full speed while enemies crawl. The Synaptic Accelerator slows time when enemy detection reaches half, which gives a stealth character a moment to react.
Speed implants help a character close distance or escape. The Adrenaline Converter gives a short burst of movement speed when combat starts. The Adreno-Trigger is its Iconic variant. Its top speed is a little lower, but the bonus lasts many times as long. Atomic Sensors raise movement speed outside combat as an enemy starts to notice the user.
Crit implants raise the odds of a critical hit. Visual Cortex Support raises Crit Chance the farther the target is, up to its peak at 30 meters. The Deep-Field Visual Interface is its Iconic variant, and it keeps scaling out to 100 meters. Stabber adds Crit Chance with Blades and throwable weapons. The Tyrosine Injector adds headshot damage and movement speed for a short time after each takedown.
Defense comes from NeoFiber. It raises both Mitigation Chance and Mitigation Strength at all times.
Pros
- Three slots allow a time slow, a speed boost and a crit implant together.
- The Reflex Tuner and the Revulsor trigger by themselves, so they save a character even in a chaotic fight.
- The Deep-Field Visual Interface can turn almost every long shot into a critical hit.
- The Adreno-Trigger keeps its speed bonus for most of a firefight.
- Several implants cost little capacity. The Adrenaline Converter, Atomic Sensors and the Synaptic Accelerator fit almost any build.
Cons
- The Iconic picks are costly. The Deep-Field Visual Interface takes 40 capacity, double the cost of Visual Cortex Support.
- The Reflex Tuner and the Revulsor only help once Health is already low.
- Atomic Sensors stop working the moment combat starts.
- The Kerenzikov only triggers during a slide, dodge or Dash.

| Name | Image | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Deep-Field Visual Interface | Crit Chance scaling out to 100 meters | |
| Revulsor | Free time slow at low Health | |
| Adreno-Trigger | Long speed boost when combat starts | |
| Kerenzikov | Time slow and shooting on the move | |
| Visual Cortex Support | Distance Crit Chance at half the cost | |
| NeoFiber | Always-on Mitigation | |
| Stabber | Up to 20% Crit Chance with blades and throwables |
The Deep-Field Visual Interface suits precision and sniper rifles. The Kerenzikov suits a Reflexes gunfighter who never stops moving. The Revulsor fits almost any build that fights close to death.
Character Builds
Cool and Reflexes split this slot. The Adrenaline Converter, Atomic Sensors and the Reflex Tuner are attuned to Cool. Each Cool point adds 0.2% headshot and weakspot damage through them. The Deep-Field Visual Interface adds Crit Damage per Cool point instead. The Kerenzikov, NeoFiber and Stabber are attuned to Reflexes, and each point adds a little Crit Chance. The Adreno-Trigger adds three seconds to its speed bonus for each Reflexes point.
- Deadeye and Nerves Of Tungsten-Steel turn headshots into guaranteed crits while Deadeye is active. Long Shot keeps full damage at any distance. They pair with Visual Cortex Support and the Deep-Field Visual Interface.
- Dash, Steady Grip and Air Kerenzikov give the Kerenzikov more chances to trigger. Steady Grip allows shooting while Dashing.
- Road Warrior lets the Kerenzikov trigger when aiming and handbraking in a car.
- Bullet Time makes Bullet Deflect free while time is slowed, which suits the Reflex Tuner and the Revulsor.
- Feline Footwork, Small Target and Can't Touch This add Mitigation Chance for a NeoFiber build.
- Ninjutsu and Quick Getaway help a stealth character with Atomic Sensors.
In the Frontal Cortex, the Kerenzikov Boost System removes the Stamina cost of shooting while the Kerenzikov runs. Kiroshi Cockatrice Optics in the Face slot stack more Crit Chance on a sniper build.
Notes
- The Deep-Field Visual Interface, the Revulsor and the Adreno-Trigger are sold by the Dogtown ripperdocs from level 20. They also drop from Dogtown airdrops.
- The Adreno-Trigger only gains its Reflexes bonus from Tier 3.
- The Revulsor slows time by 40% at Tier 3 and 60% from Tier 5. Each Cool point cuts a quarter of a second from its cooldown.
- The Reflex Tuner slows time by 20% at Tier 1, with a 60 second cooldown.
- The Kerenzikov is sold from level 10, and NeoFiber from level 20. The Adrenaline Converter, Atomic Sensors and the Reflex Tuner are on sale from the start.
