Bastard's Stars are a Flail in Elden Ring. They become available in the middle of a run.

Bastard's Stars is a flail imbued with power by the remembrance of Astel, formed of the same many-colored star debris as the Naturalborn of the Void. It is obtained by trading the Remembrance of the Naturalborn to Finger Reader Enia after defeating Astel beyond the Grand Cloister. Like every flail it is slow, deals Strike damage and cannot be parried, and it adds magic damage to its physical hits. Its unique skill, Nebula, sweeps the stars forward in a lunging strike that leaves a dark cloud of stars to explode a moment later. It scales strongly with Intelligence and deals bonus damage to gravity-type enemies, so it suits an Intelligence character who wants a melee option.

Stats

Bastard's Stars carries C Intelligence scaling, the best in the flail class, putting 81 magic on top of 68 physical, and it climbs to A Intelligence at max upgrade. It comes with the Nebula skill for 25 FP, which gives a sorcerer an unparryable flail with a spell-like skill attached.

How to Get Bastard's Stars Guide

It is traded for the Remembrance of the Naturalborn with Finger Reader Enia at the Roundtable Hold. The remembrance drops from Astel, Naturalborn of the Void beyond the Grand Cloister.

Defeat Astel, Naturalborn of the Void in the cavern reached by the coffin at the Grand Cloister to obtain the Remembrance of the Naturalborn.
Travel to the Roundtable Hold.
Talk to Finger Reader Enia and choose to exchange remembrances.
Select the Remembrance of the Naturalborn and choose the Bastard's Stars.
To take the other reward as well, first duplicate the remembrance at a Wandering Mausoleum.

Skill

Nebula costs 25 FP. The wielder imbues the weapon with magic and sends out a dark cloud of stars that lingers for a moment before exploding. On the Wing of Astel the stars fan out in a wide arc in front, while the Bastard's Stars sweep them around the wielder in a spinning lunge. The magic damage scales with Intelligence, the Spellblade set boosts it, and in tight spaces the stars bunch together. No other weapon carries this skill, and it cannot be replaced.

Suggested Build

Close distance with Nebula's lunging sweep and let the star cloud detonate, mixing in flail swings that cannot be parried.
