The Brick Hammer is a Great Hammer in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Early game. It is found around Stormveil Castle, in the opening stretch of a run, so it is one of the first real upgrades you can carry.

Why Players Pick It

The class's stance-breaking ceiling: B Strength at +0, no Dex requirement at all, and 's highest Great Hammer Sta at 218 max standard rising to 239 on max heavy with S Str. The cost is 31 Str, 12.5 weight, and the lowest base physical of any pure-physical Great Hammer. Found on a corpse in Stormveil Castle past the Stormveil Cliffside grace.

Upgrades

Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at B, so Str is the stat worth levelling, and you need Str 31 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling.

Notes

Weapon made from an ordinary stone brick. Wielded by a laborer who lead a rebellion, and later become a champion himself. Even among other bludgeons of its size, this weapon is especially weighty. The strength of a giant is required to wield it.

How to Get Brick Hammer Guide

Location: Stormveil Castle.
The is found on a corpse in Stormveil Castle in the area within the wall past the Stormveil Cliffside site of grace. It is accessed by climbing the ladder behind the door unlocked by the Rusty Key and turning right to jump across the gap, crossing the beams, and then jumping to another platform leading to an opening in the wall. Follow the path outside and reenter at the round tower. The corpse hangs from a ledge.
