The Envoy's Long Horn is a Great Hammer in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Late game. It is found around Mountaintops of the Giants, far enough in that it is an end-of-run weapon rather than something to build towards.

Upgrades

It takes Somber Smithing Stones rather than the common kind, one per level up to +10, and it keeps its own skill for good: no Ash of War will replace it and no affinity will re-cut its scaling.

Skill

Bubble Shower costs 12 FP. Blow on the horn to release a spume of magic bubbles. The bubbles float gently before raining down the target. It belongs to this weapon alone: no Ash of War will move it onto anything else, and nothing will replace it here.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D, Dex at D and Fai at D, so Str, Dex and Fai are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 23, Dex 11 and Fai 18 before you can lift it. Because the skill is its own, the build has to come to the weapon rather than the other way round.

Notes

Long golden horn of the Oracle Envoys. Profoundly weighty, its blows are sure to be felt. Originally an instrument, but one that cannot be sounded by a mere human. Or perhaps is it too early to sound the call.
