The Curved Great Club is a Great Hammer in Elden Ring. It carries the highest physical attack of any great hammer in the game.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Liurnia of the Lakes, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Why Players Pick It

Highest base physical in the class at 145, and the highest max-standard attack rating (AR) on at 355. Costs only 24 Str / 10 Dex and 10 weight: it beats weapons demanding 28 and 31 Str. The only thing it gives up is Sta. 4% drop from large Albinaurics in Liurnia, so it is farmable long before the requirement is met.

Upgrades

Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D and Dex at D, so Str and Dex are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 24 and Dex 10 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling.
