The Rotten Battle Hammer is a Great Hammer in Elden Ring. It is a late-game find in the Consecrated Snowfield.

The Rotten Battle Hammer is a large iron great hammer designed for gladiatorial combat, now festering with scarlet rot and weighty enough to crush armor and its wearer alike. It is a guaranteed drop from the Rotten Duelist in the stone coffins northwest of the Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace in the Mountaintops of the Giants. It uses the slow great hammer moveset and builds scarlet rot at 65 with each hit, scaling with Strength at C and Dexterity at E. Its default skill, Braggart's Roar, is a boastful roar that raises attack power, defense and stamina recovery speed. It suits a Strength character who wants scarlet rot damage over time on tough enemies.

Braggart's Roar costs 16 FP. The wielder lets out a boastful roar that staggers nearby foes and grants a 60 second buff raising physical attack power, damage negation and stamina recovery speed. While it lasts, two-handed heavy and charged attacks change into a new moveset that varies by weapon class, usually opening with a heavy overhead slam. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.

Played as a Strength great hammer that opens with Braggart's Roar and then trades heavy swings while scarlet rot builds up.
