Fire Coil is a throwable in Elden Ring. It comes from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Fire Coil is a bundle of lingering embers used by Messmer's soldiers. It costs FP to throw, and tiny fire snakes spring from where it lands. The snakes chase down nearby foes. It is a strong, cheap ranged attack for Faith builds.
Effect
Thrown, it splits into small homing fire snakes. It has 125 base fire damage, and damage grows with Faith.
"A device of fire used by Messmer's soldiers. Lingering embers, bundled into a coil. Craftable item. Uses FP to conjure tiny fire snakes from the spot that it is thrown. The writhing snakes pursue foes. Fire was a symbol of the crusade, and even Messmer's rank-and-file soldiers would wield it."
