Rainbow Stone is a consumable in Elden Ring.

Rainbow Stone is a lightly worked Ruin Fragment that glows in one of several colors. It marks a path or a spot on the ground. It also tests a drop before jumping. The recipe comes with the Crafting Kit.

A placed Rainbow Stone shines with colored light and serves as a guide. When dropped from a height, the pitch of its sound tells how deep the fall is. A high, shattering sound means the fall is likely fatal.

"Ruin Fragment that has undergone some simple processing. Craftable item. Stones such as these shine with the colors of the rainbow, making them useful markers when placed on the ground. Can also be dropped to gauge the distance of a fall. The higher the pitch of the sound, the higher the likelihood of the fall being fatal. Once used to entertain children on the fringes of the Lands Between."
