Soap is a consumable in Elden Ring.

Soap is a plant-based soap made from mushroom juice. It washes filth off the body, including swamp water that keeps building poison or rot. It also slightly lowers poison buildup. It is cheap to craft and handy in swamps.

Soap removes filth and other coatings from the body. That includes swamp water that keeps causing poison or scarlet rot buildup after leaving the swamp. It also cleans off cosmetic blood and dirt.
