Preserving Boluses is a consumable in Elden Ring.
Preserving Boluses are scarlet pills made from cave moss. They clear scarlet rot buildup and cure rot. Scarlet rot drains HP heavily over time, so a cure is vital in rot swamps and against rot-wielding enemies. The recipe uses Sacramental Buds and Crystal Cave Moss.
Effect
Preserving Boluses cure scarlet rot and remove its current buildup. A character still standing in a rot source, such as the Lake of Rot, keeps building it up until Soap is used.
"Scarlet boluses made of cave moss. Craftable item. Alleviates scarlet rot buildup and cures rot aliment. Scarlet rot accumulates gradually, coming into effect once the threshold is reached. Scarlet rot ailment greatly lowers HP in steady increments for a period."
