The Stalhrim Mace is one of the best maces in Skyrim even though it has the 2nd highest base damage in the game. This is thanks to Stalhrim weapons having 25% stronger Frost Damage.
Weapon Enchantment
While you can apply any enchantment to the Stalhrim Mace, both the frost enchantment/frost effect from the chaos enchant will be 25% stronger when applied to the weapon.

Where to find the Stalhrim Mace Location?
- Once you reach level 35 Unenchanted Stalhrim Mace will begin to appear throughout Skyrim and enchanted daggers can be found at level 36. They will appear within random loot chests, for sale at specific merchants or sometimes wielded by enemies.
- You can buy Stalhrim Weapons from Baldor Iron-Shaper in the Skaal Village on the island of Solstheim.
- Before you can craft a Stalhrim Mace you must complete the quest A New Source of Stalhrim: You can start this quest by talking to Deor Woodcutter in the Skaal Village on Solstheim (see video above). A Stalhrim Mace requires a Smithing level of 80 and the Ebony Smithing perk to craft.
