Sleeping in the Ashlands takes more than a pile of straw, and the Ashwood Bed is what the biome offers instead: a frame of fire hardened Ashwood under a Lox Pelt and an Asksvin Hide. You find it in the Seating & Tables part of the build menu. It does the same work as any other bed, holding your spawn point and letting you sleep through the night, and it looks at home in a hall of black stone and ash.
How to Build It
It costs 8x Ashwood, 2x Lox Pelt and 2x Asksvin Hide, with a Workbench in range. Claim it under a roof with a fire burning nearby and it becomes the point you wake up at. Its comfort is no better than a plain bed, so build it for the spawn point and the look rather than for a longer rested bonus.
