Ansbach's Longbow is a Bow in Elden Ring. It comes from Shadow of the Erdtree and is found in Shadow Keep.

Ansbach's Longbow is the weapon of Sir Ansbach, a longbow consisting of two bow bodies and two strings that, unusually, can be wielded like a light bow by anyone with the extraordinary dexterity it demands. It is obtained by killing or assisting Sir Ansbach during Needle Knight Leda's questline in Shadow Keep. Its light bow moveset allows far more opportunities to fire, it needs 43 Dexterity, and it works exceptionally well with status arrows such as Bloodbone Arrows. Its unique skill, Fan Shot, holds the bow horizontally and fires eight arrows at once in a fan-shaped arc with impressive range and tracking.

Stats

Ansbach's Longbow is the only other bow with the light bow moveset, so it fires out of rolls and jumps while keeping a full bow's range, and it carries the unique Fan Shot skill. Its Dexterity requirement is the highest of any bow, which makes it a full build commitment rather than a side weapon.

How to Get Ansbach's Longbow Guide

It is the reward for the clash between Needle Knight Leda and Sir Ansbach in the Specimen Storehouse, whichever side is taken, and Ansbach also drops it if killed.

Follow Needle Knight Leda's questline at the Highroad Cross Site of Grace until she turns against her allies.
Join Leda against Hornsent, or skip that fight, since defending Hornsent removes this reward.
Return to the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace in the Specimen Storehouse of the Shadow Keep, where two summon signs appear.
Use the red sign to help Leda or the gold sign to defend Sir Ansbach.
Win the fight to receive the longbow.

Skill

Fan Shot costs 0 / 12 / 12 FP. The wielder turns sideways into a horizontal archery stance, and each attack input draws and fires eight arrows at once in a fan-shaped spread. Entering the stance is free, but every volley costs FP and uses up eight arrows, so ammunition runs down quickly. The skill is unique to this weapon and cannot be swapped out.
