Messmerfire Grease is a grease in Elden Ring. It is part of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Messmerfire Grease is a knotgrease made from incendiary materials. It coats the right-hand weapon and adds heavy fire damage. It is the stronger, Realm of Shadow version of Fire Grease. Messmer's soldiers carried fire as a symbol of the crusade.
Effect
The coating adds 120 flat fire damage to the right-hand weapon for 60 seconds. It counts as a weapon buff and replaces other weapon buffs.
