Remembrance of the Mother of Fingers is a remembrance in Elden Ring. It is part of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.

Remembrance of the Mother of Fingers is the remembrance of Metyr, Mother of Fingers. It drops when the boss is defeated in the Finger Ruins of Miyr. Finger Reader Enia at the Roundtable Hold trades it for a staff or the Gazing Finger. It can also be used for a large sum of runes instead.

Effect

Using it grants 40,000 runes. Trading it with Finger Reader Enia gives Staff of the Great Beyond or Gazing Finger instead. Only one copy drops in each playthrough, so the choice matters.

"Remembrance of Metyr, Mother of Fingers, hewn into the Scadutree. The power of its namesake can be unlocked by the Finger Reader. Alternatively, it can be used to gain a great bounty of runes. The mother of all Two Fingers and Fingercreepers was in turn a magnificently gleaming daughter of the Greater Will, and the first shooting star to fall upon the Lands Between."

Defeat Metyr, Mother of Fingers in the Finger Ruins of Miyr.
Take the remembrance to Finger Reader Enia at the Roundtable Hold to trade it, or use it for runes.
