The Scavenger's Curved Sword is a Curved Sword in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Mid game. It is found around Mt. Gelmir, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.

Upgrades

Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D and Dex at D, so Str and Dex are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 9 and Dex 14 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling. It also causes buildup of blood loss (45) on its own, with no infusion needed.

Notes

Unique curved sword, notched like shark's teeth. Weapon carried by corpse pillagers who prowl the sites of old battles. The blade is tacky with blood and covered in hefty nicks, making it totally uneven. Life can be sinister indeed.
