The Horned Warrior's Sword is a Curved Sword in Elden Ring.

When to Use It

Shadow of the Erdtree. It is found around Belurat, Tower Settlement in the expansion, which opens only once Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood are beaten.

Upgrades

It takes Somber Smithing Stones rather than the common kind, one per level up to +10, and it keeps its own skill for good: no Ash of War will replace it and no affinity will re-cut its scaling.

Skill

Horn Calling costs 17 FP. Invokes tangled horns to cover the weapon's blade. Drive the weapon into the ground, calling up a cluster of piercing horns. It belongs to this weapon alone: no Ash of War will move it onto anything else, and nothing will replace it here.

Build

Its scaling runs Str at D, Dex at D and Fai at E, so Str and Dex are the stats worth levelling, and you need Str 11, Dex 14 and Fai 14 before you can lift it. Because the skill is its own, the build has to come to the weapon rather than the other way round.

Notes

Curved sword of the horned warriors, keepers of the tower. The ornamental tangled horns allow the blade to serve as a medium for horn-calling.

This can be obtained by eliminating the Horned Warrior in the swamp at Belurat Tower Settlement.
Drops from Horned Warriors who wield them (an easy one to farm is located just up the stairs from the Small Private Altar Site of Grace in Belurat, Tower Settlement.
Drops from a Horned Warrior who wields them, located just by Ravine North Site of Grace.
