Seedbed Curse is a quest item in Elden Ring. It is a mid-game find.

A Seedbed Curse is a horned pox grown on a corpse killed by the Dung Eater. It stops the dead soul from returning to the Erdtree. The curses are among the most hated things in the Lands Between. The Dung Eater's questline needs five of them.

Holding one curse lets the Dung Eater at the Roundtable Hold hand over the Sewer-Gaol Key. After he invades and is beaten in the outer moat of Leyndell, Royal Capital, five curses are used on his body in his cell. That gives the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse and the Blessing of Despair ending.

"Curse grown on a corpse killed and defiled by the Dung Eater. A tender pox afflicted with omen horns. The Dung Eater cultivates the seedbed curse on corpses. By doing so he prevents dead souls returning to the Erdtree, leaving them forever cursed. One of the most loathsome things found in all the Lands Between."

It belongs to Dung Eater's quest. It is brought to Dung Eater at His cell in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds. Five curses on his body yield the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse.

How to Get Seedbed Curse Guide

1. Find one on the top floor of a building past the first lift near the East Capital Rampart in Leyndell, Royal Capital.
2. Find one in the Fortified Manor room that matches the Dung Eater's room in the Roundtable Hold.
3. Find one beyond the imp statue near the waygate to the Audience Pathway in Volcano Manor.
4. Find two around the Prayer Room in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree.
5. Free the Dung Eater and finish Blackguard Big Boggart's dialogue to get the last one from him.
